in the days of leading up to mother's day, i definitely thought about you and remembered your previous posts about how upsetting it was. i was hoping you would have a much different type of experience this year. :) i am not much into the holiday either (for the gimmicky hallmark reasons) but i'm so very glad you have your little girl. she is beautiful and seems like so much fun. you are blessed, for sure! and you deserve it so so much.

I love this! I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering if/how you were celebrating.

I think the idea of Mother's Day is nice, but it has always been a low-key holiday in my family. Growing up, we were told we were always to love, respect and do what our mother told us to, so on Mother's Day we were only supposed to do that happily. For Mother's Day this year, I wanted to go for a walk and have Chipotle for dinner. No card, no flowers, no jewelry. Those things are nice, they just aren't for me.

This is exactly my feeling about Mother's Day as well!
After 4 years of infertility including 2 years of treatments I am now a mama to my miracle baby boy, who's nine months old now.

I agree with Facebook! This weekend I took the time to take everyone off my Facebook except family and those I consider family (like yourself!). It was kind of liberating actually! My problems were drama and having to constantly censor myself. Instagram is awesome and I have loved it for quite sometime! Can't wait till July!!

I do love Facebook for keeping up with people I don't get to see that often. And the kid pictures, love those! But in all fairness I did delete anyone from my friend list that I wouldn't want to send pictures of my kids to or catch up with in real life. And I don't accept friend requests for people who fit that category as well. I didn't love it as much (as an adult) until I did that.

I need to sign up for Instagram, I'm WAY behind on that one! I have the app on my phone and everything, just needed the motivation to get my booty in gear and use it! If I get to see pictures of Katherine, I'm in!

I second the instagram tutorial! I've heard lots of great things about it, but I'm afraid its another thing that would suck me in.

I love Facebook, mostly so I can see pictures of my friends in various states and their babies, but I find that its annoying me more and more these days. Especially all the "why do you not just sign up for Pinterest" shares these days. So maybe I don't love Facebook so much as I love photos of babies.

Katherine and Juliana are still babies right? Because I'm super excited to have two babies at my house.
