STRIPED CURTAINS!!!!!

I've told you my family-in-law loves Disneyworld, right? Well, as an excuse to get together, cook, and eat massive amounts of food, we periodically have Disney Food weekends. Explaining that is a whole 'nother post... but suffice it to say, Rob and Theresa were gleefully cooking all weekend, while Caroline and I had THE MOST PRODUCTIVE WEEKEND EVER.

There was, of course, much baby fun...

and a "Must Escape The House for Sanity Purposes" Target trip...

but I'm SO VERY THANKFUL that Caroline wanted to insisted on! helping me paint giant yellow stripes on my muslin curtains. I'd been pinning striped curtains on Pinterest and pining over striped curtains in my head for... 7 months? It was a recurring "Gosh this room is boring" thought this summer while nursing K.

I'd already hung the $4 worth of Electrical-Conduit-as-Curtain-Rod, sewn the curtains from $1/yard muslin, and had them up for a week, but I needed a push and some help to finally get on with painting those curtains. 

I LOVE them. And because of Caroline (and a super long nap taken by some seriously worn out baby girls), they were done in A NIGHT instead of the weeks it would have taken me to do them alone.
